National Honor Society
The National Honor Society, or NHS, is a nationwide organization in the United States and consists of many chapters in high schools. Selection is based on four criteria: scholarship, leadership, service, and character. This is a select group of students who have a minimum 3.2 G.P.A, go through a personal interview with faculty members, and who have been invited to become a member of the society. The group performs service activities for the school and the community.
